Due to a lack of information
on market prices and market options,
						many producers are being
underbid at prices that do not
match their value.

Therefore, Fair trade is a mechanism
to trade goods produced
						with consideration for people
and the environment
at a fair price to support sustainable production and improved living standards.

				Fair trade is
still not well known in Japan.

					Many people have probably
heard of the term “Fair trade,”
but only about 30% of people
in Japan understand
					that
Fair trade is an activity that
addresses poverty and
environmental issues.
