“COTTON EIGHT” is a project to weave our future.
We provide Fair trade cotton and aim
to create a Fair trade society
through cotton.
COTTON EIGHT sources more than 8%
of its yarn from Fair trade
certified producers.
We propose forms that are easy to
incorporate into daily life
and develop
systems that blend into society.
With the idea of “starting what we can,
little by little”,
COTTON EIGHT is a
challenge that utilizes comprehensive
strength
of the Toyota Tsusho Group
to promote Fair trade
by involving all processes from cotton production to consumption.
Producution areas
On farms in India and other countries where we source raw cotton,
cotton is hand-picked and also most processes, from transportation and packaging, are done by hand.
This leads to job creation.
